When did communist countries become 'new socialist' countries. I ask because an article I read on Chavez desribed Venezuela as a 'new socialist' country. To be realistic for a moment, I can't say as I advocate assassination. Causualty of war for Venezuelan oil - yes. Assassination - no.
Fitch - Answer: When liberal MSM comrades discovered the term communism was derogatory. We could silently declare war and take Chavez out in a decapitation strike. He's too ugly to have too many body doubles.
DPT - Yeah. And this oil is a lot closer too. This really takes the steam out of the 'war for oil' argument doesn't it?
this oil is a lot closer too. Not only that, but venezuela claims to be the second largest oil producer and exporter. So we're talking BIG oil here. Thanks for the explaination on 'New Socialism,' but I asked WHEN the term changed.

I thought the $3.00 per gallon took the steam outta the "war for oil" argument.
ReplyDeleteThe price tag took the oil out of the war for oil argument.

ReplyDeleteDid I not use the 'When' qualifier in the original reply?
ReplyDeleteYes, but I was kind of hoping for something like, "January 12, 1998." You know... specifics.
