Obamanomic Benchmark #2

This is more hilarious than the Obama benchmark for unemployment that touts jobs created or saved.

From Politico:

Larry Summers cites Google search as progress

The number of people searching for the term “economic depression” on Google is down to normal levels, Summers said.

Searches for the term were up four-fold when the recession deepened in the earlier part of the year, and the recent shift goes to show consumer confidence is higher, Summers told Peterson Institute for International Economics.

Summers continued the administration’s push-back against critics of President Barack Obama’s handling of the recession, defending the economic stimulus package against Republicans critics who have tried to paint the program as a failure because it hasn’t stemmed the unemployment rate.

Did Larry see if the number of searches for "total economic collapse" or "bloody American taxpayer revolt" were up, instead?

One of my top searches right now is "We're stuck with Obama." and "anti obama humor" is on the rise.

Yeah. You actually have to search for Obama humor, in the middle of a sea of opportunity.

I figured a popular search would be "Michelle Obama looks like Aunt Esther."

Wyatt - I would be labeled a racist for saying Cheetah, so I will stick with Joe the Camel.
