Straight from the Horse's Mouth

"You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. And if you don't you get stuck in Iraq." - John Effing Kerry

Thank you John, for the rare gift of seeing what you actually think of those defending this country from head chopping barbarians.

Joke my ass.

Those are your words, not George Bush's. You were accusing those kids of not studying hard, not doing homework and not making an effort to be a smart ass like you and the other smart asses around you. You accused them of paying for their lack of smart ass assets by being sent to war against their will.

Now you are insulting the rest of us with your stupid ass spin.

Sorry, senator, your tired old draft era sixties college campus stereotype is really wearing thin. Join your buddy Dick Durbin, who thinks our soldiers are Nazi gulag operators. Join your buddy Charlie Rangel, who still thinks there is an involuntary draft skimming off the poorest and the dumbest in our society. Join your buddy Ted Kennedy, who thinks our Gitmo soldiers are routine torturers. Join your buddy Murtha, who tried and convicted Marines in the press, before they got the due process democrats are so famous for advocating, only in behalf of the terrorists.

Did I leave out any more democrat patriots of the new dissenting world order?

What a bunch of winners. I thought we barely dodged the bullet of Al Gore. Kerry just hasn't been given his due.

As of this brief moment, senator, you are just the biggest ass on the big screen.

They should've played Dean's yell after that comment! He slipped and said what he really meant. The soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan are some of the bravest in the world and deserve so much more than they get from some Americans. I'm reading a blog of a soldier in Afghanistan that I found on Milblogging.com..not sure of the web address, but I'll come back with it. I can't imagine having to do some of the things they do and have so much respect for them. I'm just sorry they have to know what some of these wealthy, know-nothing politicians, celebrities, etc, say about them! Lurch needs to have his mouth sewn shut!

I agree. However, we should postpone the surgery until after he wins the election for the Republicans.

Judging by his picture, he's had botched plastic surgery, too. The botox must no longer work.

I've been as close to giddy as I ever get since this unfolded knowing that he's permanently ruined all chances of ever getting elected President in this country.

RT - If his botox wore off, he would give Helen Thomas a run for her money.

rachel - I know what you mean. I am positively beaming. I just hope he has ruined his chances at becoming senator again. Of course, here in the Gay state, that could be hoping for too much.

Kerry broke the DNC's cardinal rule of not saying what you truly believe out loud...

And we all hope it will cost them dearly.

Try being a little less hypocritical. Whatever Kerry's intentions, his comment would have to go quite a ways to compare with Bush's heartless statement that in the history books all the death and destruction in Iraq (including all the American troops killed) will amount to "just a comma". I didn't hear a whisper of criticism about THAT comment from Republicans or from the military, just crickets chirping. So as Dick Cheney said, "Go fuck yourself".

Realist convinced me, specifically with that last heartwarming remark. We need a JFK cut and run drama in Iraq. Just like Vietnam. We need that wonderful Brahman leadership, forged by years of Bush bashing senate seat moistening. In addition to his portrait next to Jane Fonda, in the North Vietnamese communist heros museum, We can hang his picture in future terrorist maddrassas, after his genuine heartfelt compassion for the troops leads to accelerated troop deaths and the deaths of a half million civilians. Forget that heartless Bush comma, we need a John Forbes Kerry super-dramatic national self-esteem building exclamation point. The slogan is: Forget about before; this time for sure!
