Commission Impossible

Michelle Malkin is right on the money with her
post, NOT ANOTHER DAMNED COMMISSION.

We are going to endure yet another tedious fact squashing festival of
Bush bashing at taxpayer expense. I wonder if we will get another
round of Washington toilet paper printed from the 'Katrina Commission' report?

Why don't they spend this money on victim relief? It would relieve ALL
of us from suffering through another round of fruitless mud slapping
demagoguery, MSM cesspool butter churning and (Ugh) Joe Biden C-SPAN
camera sex.

Does anyone believe that anyone from Washington will pay any price for any infraction? Don't raise all your hands at once.

It's part of the healing process for those who are really at blame. We can't have Dems walking around with low self esteem after a disaster like this. We have to have some way for them to shift the blame on Bush.

Without some official fuel, their MSM buddies are falling flat on their face.

She was on O'Reilly last night . . . looking fabulous! Maybe that's why I don't remember a thing she said.

I think the news from Fox and Major Garrett about the Red Cross being blocked from entering the city with supplies is raising lots of CYA flags in the elite ruling classes. Its bound to be just the first bombshell that will point out the real slackers in this mess.

Wyatt - That's why I have to read her blog instead.

Gunnnut - This will be one of many local government blunders. I'm sure they will all be marginalized.

Stupid Commissions are nothing but a way to publicly politicize an event. Things can be adequately investigated, and findings published without making a media circus of the whole thing. They only reason to call for a comission - ever - is to score cheap political points. Yay! for cheap political points. Or not.
