Hypocrisy here at Home

GRAHAM: Well, number one, we have to resolve this issue to build confidence in the American people that we're a nation of laws, not outcomes. So having hearings I think is appropriate. To have a public hearing maybe is not appropriate. I would like to see the Intelligence Committee and other people who are the appropriate folks to provide oversight look into it.

Talking about the importance of rule of law versus outcomes
CBS Face the Nation December 18, 2005

SEN. GRAHAM: Well, at the end of the day, as you try to walk me and Charlie through what to do with 11 million people, there's respect for the law and there's justice. If the law doesn't create a just result, what good is it?

The senator talking about the importance of outcomes versus the rule of law.
Meet the Press May 21, 2006

Sen. GRAHAM: Eleven million people told the terrorists to go to heck by voting. They're making a giant step forward. They've had three elections. Each one's been better than the other. The bottom line is there are major obstacles....

Talking about the power of 11 million Iraqi voters on CBS Face the Nation December 18, 2005

SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM, R-S.C.: Well, number one, Tony, people are not going to come out of the shadows if it's going to result in their family being broken up and sent back to Central America or Mexico.

We've got 11 million people here. We're not going to put them all in jail. We're not going to make them felons. And we're not going to be able to deport them, but we can have reasonable punishment. And we need to know who the heck they are.

Talking about watering down your vote with his new illegal 11 million voter base Fox News April 7, 2006

Hey Senator Graham, SCREW YOU and the dwindling political voter horse you rode in on.

For more good stuff, go read Mark Levin, over at NRO.

Aren't those people already felons?

What a jackass. In both senses.

It's too bad he's not an official member of the jackass party.

You know, one question I would like to see addressed in all the talk about illegal immigration and terrorism is, "What about China?".

I wish every post on here and on "Gates of Vienna" and on LGF, etc. would include a sentence that contains "and then China will...".

These people talk about immigration, terrorism AND China:

Hydro,

I have mentioned China here and at Stealth of Nations, specifically in the area of spying and lobbying.

I also consider them a serious threat. They are becoming increasingly militant in their economic power, threatening Taiwan. Of course they do not have to worry about European and UN pressure over environment, economics etc. It is much easier, and cowardly, to beat up the U.S.

I will focus more on that problem, when we get past this impending congressional crisis on illegal invasions. It is so nice to know that citizens have to play the firefighter for government corruption.

I have lived in this damn blue state of MA, where I have never gotten complete satisfaction at the voting booth. It still has not stopped me from performing my civic duty.

Well done, Insol.
(I should have a hot-key to type that).

And China is indeed a threat, in more ways than one...

Wasn't Graham a JAG officer? He sure is tough on our guys who are serving, too bad laws only need to be followed by citizens.
