Executive Order: Protecting the Property Rights of the American People

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and to strengthen the rights of the American people against the taking of their private property, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Policy. It is the policy of the United States to protect the rights of Americans to their private property, including by limiting the taking of private property by the Federal Government to situations in which the taking is for public use, with just compensation, and for the purpose of benefiting the general public and not merely for the purpose of advancing the economic interest of private parties to be given ownership or use of the property taken.

Sec. 2. Implementation. (a) The Attorney General shall:

(i) issue instructions to the heads of departments and agencies to implement the policy set forth in section 1 of this order; and

(ii) monitor takings by departments and agencies for compliance with the policy set forth in section 1 of this order.

(b) Heads of departments and agencies shall, to the extent permitted by law:

(i) comply with instructions issued under subsection (a)(i); and

(ii) provide to the Attorney General such information as the Attorney General determines necessary to carry out subsection (a)(ii).

Sec. 3. Specific Exclusions. Nothing in this order shall be construed to prohibit a taking of private property by the Federal Government, that otherwise complies with applicable law, for the purpose of:

(a) public ownership or exclusive use of the property by the public, such as for a public medical facility, roadway, park, forest, governmental office building, or military reservation;

(b) projects designated for public, common carrier, public transportation, or public utility use, including those for which a fee is assessed, that serve the general public and are subject to regulation by a governmental entity;

c) conveying the property to a nongovernmental entity, such as a telecommunications or transportation common carrier, that makes the property available for use by the general public as of right;

(d) preventing or mitigating a harmful use of land that constitutes a threat to public health, safety, or the environment;

(e) acquiring abandoned property;

(f) quieting title to real property;

(g) acquiring ownership or use by a public utility;

(h) facilitating the disposal or exchange of Federal property; or

(i) meeting military, law enforcement, public safety, public transportation, or public health emergencies.

Sec. 4. General Provisions. (a) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(b) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

(i) authority granted by law to a department or agency or the head thereof; or

(ii) functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budget, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(c) This order shall be implemented in a manner consistent with Executive Order 12630 of March 15, 1988.

(d) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity against the United States, its departments, agencies, entities, officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

WASHINGTON | - WASHINGTON | American emergency rooms are stretched to the breaking point and are “ill-prepared to handle large-scale emergencies,” the National Academies’ Institute of Medicine reported Wednesday.

Do we need a serious flu-epidemic in this country, to drive our citizens to those emergency rooms?

If that happened, would they realize how these facilities are being used to provide state subsidized welfare to illegal aliens?

Not once, in the ridiculous article above, does the author mention that a large part of those uninsured services, are not for Americans, but illegal criminals. All that is mentioned, is 46 million uninsured Americans. I guess that includes South Americans and Mexicans.

I am so glad we are benefitting from all of those illegal aliens, making us pay for the emergency medical services U.S. citizens can't be bothered to use. So should we pay the millions they are asking for, or just let it break?

Fail to the Chief

I had another one of those discussions today, regarding the building of a wall, along the southern border. My liberal counterpart was touting the same rhetoric recently delivered by the president and Colin Powell. The basic reasoning, without genuine reason, was that a wall cannot work, is too big to build, the problem is too large... therefore, should not be attempted.

Wrong.

Recently, I looked into this effort by private citizens, to do what the government refuses to do (link). The more I thought about it, the better it sounded.

We know that a wall will work. It is common sense. We also know that domestic governance and leadership is a total failure.

• Liberal government has failed us in domestic security, resulting in 9/11.
• Liberal government has failed us in border security, resulting in a foreign invasion.
• Liberal government has failed us in the war on poverty, creating a victim class.
• Liberal government has failed us in public and higher education, with rampant political proselytizing, shameless begging and dilution of quality with an emphasis on worthless self-esteem.
• Liberal government has failed us in emergency management, by destroying accountability in government and its officials. It openly excuses the reckless actions of individual citizens.
• Liberal government has failed us in money management. It overspends on every project. It always and settles on substandard results.
• Liberal government has failed us in its respect for the law. Justice is not applied equally. Justice is for sale.
• Liberal government has failed to protect our constitutional property rights.
• Liberal government has failed to protect the first amendment rights of students in public schools. Conservative dissidents are open to the politically correct predations of government employed public school thought police.
• Liberal government has failed to eliminate skin color in public affairs. It continues to amplify race based policy, in violation of the fourteenth amendment, choosing color over both content of character and social class. Sorry, MLK, but your dream has yet to be realized.
• Liberal government, touted by liberal Democrats or liberal Republicans is a total, abject abysmal failure at every issue. It poisons every issue with its superficial, emotional brand of feel good logic.
• Worst of all, liberal government and liberal politicians have failed to protect our military service men. When liberal politicians insert themselves into wartime military affairs, with political correctness and propaganda posturing, our soldiers pay the price with their lives.

Liberal governance is a governance of total failure. It is a belief in failure. It embraces, applauds, sooths and medicates all of its failures, at every level of its existence. Failure is not just ok; failure is an excuse to label yourself with a new syndrome, then go out and get a prescription. We should all just fail, be satisfied that nothing can be accomplished, then collapse into the huge community pile of pacifist liberal failures over in Europe and the U.N. We should discard our constitutional law, in favor of international law. We should discard our culture. We should discard our borders. We should discard our economic future. We should discard our individuality and our property. We should discard our ability to think for ourselves and determine our own destiny.

Communist rubbish!
When I hear the liberal argument that something will not work, I know it will be a total success.

We should build that wall. We should build it with private donations. We no longer have a government that can cut canals through continents. We no longer have a government that can build enormous hydroelectric walls across raging rivers, on time and on budget.

If private citizens succeed in protecting themselves at that border, without the government, they will have the biggest weapon of all. They will have the finger of truth and success. They can point that finger at every single nay-saying Jimmy Carter operating in government. and then they can say yea, you are out of here loser! While they are building that wall, protecting our country and culture, they can tear down that wall of failure, erected by years of liberal governance.

A Technically Cultural Question

Recently I feel like Norman Rockwell's America has died and I'm a necrophiliac.

I wish there was someplace I could move or work in order to have like-minded technical people around me.

I am glad you framed your question around the Dilbert type workplace. I worked at a place that practiced every one of those Dilbert type bureaucratic hang-ups, for ten years. You had to fight a childish cadre of sycophant power brokers, climbing the corporate ladder on their knees, just to get any real work done. However, there was a dynamic war-like excitement to this feudal system. We would play the crisis game like pros, finding and creating short-circuit paths, which would allow us to pull in resources and run our own renegade technical experiments. Without the bracket of a crisis, nothing could be accomplished. None of the managers at the top had long term vision. It was easy to convince nearby management to game the system, for selfish benefit. The worst part of this dysfunctional situation was the fact that you could never reach a level of achievement, which would give you life satisfaction. I left because of this. When you are unable to create and put achievements on a resume, the war games are boring.

Then I moved to my current job, which is an open teamwork environment, where everyone feels like an empowered, responsible player in the game of business. You can patent your work and put your name on it. At the top level, the bureaucracy is sedentary and losing its comparative efficiency, moving along with engineered determination. It is the comfortable conservative empire, interested in specific technical innovation, but surprisingly uninterested in modern computer enhanced business management. This is a system of good upper management communication. However, it is petrified of risk and change. It resists that change, even when that change is beneficial and competitors are implementing it. Communication amongst the lower echelons is nearly non-existent, except at a localized level. People are re-inventing the wheel everywhere, because there is no motivation for them to get together and initiate large-scale progress, together. Even though this seems inefficient, this internal competition can be beneficial. It is like planting five seedlings and picking the strongest young plant. Unfortunately, no one is tending the garden, with aggressive leadership. All the plants are crowding each other out. Rather than fighting a war, you apply deliberate pressure, hoping the force will be enough to move the great mass.

I think both workplaces suffer from weakness in leadership. I was able to convince some of my old friends to move to my current workplace. We are applying some of the grassroots aggression, we learned from the environment of company 'A'. It is proving to be remarkably effective. Whether you are dealing with the political chaos of my previous company, or the intransigent mass of corporate inertia, one thing is certain.

Innovators will always find a way to innovate.

They will find a way to do it, or they will venture outside and take the risk of creating it themselves. That is the American spirit you long for, in your lament for Norman Rockwell's America, alive and well within the corporate culture. Engineers love to have fun, and spend the company's money doing it. Good companies, with innovative leadership, often find that delicate point where they can safely herd the cats, without sending them off to hunt for mice elsewhere. That is what keeps me going.

I will admit that the social culture, that inspired Rockwell's paintings, has suffered terribly, in ways I do not need to enumerate. It has been somewhat depressing lately. This general cultural decay is due to the type of 'progress' touted by progressives. It was created by reckless social experimentation, without genuine serious thought about consequences or corrective action. Now, having failed, the purveyors stand in the way of that corrective action, hoping to forestall it. Their social revolution has become both a large mass of bureaucratic inertia in government and the chaotic corruption of popular culture and media. Those things have reinforced each other for far too long. The unchecked, self-indulgent, irresponsible and unaccountable behavior, which we see daily, does alarm me. Perhaps it is a common behavior, now amplified by consumer connectivity. That could be a whole topic of discussion, on its own.

But you know what? Even with all this depressing news, the American innovators, in love with their freedom, thier families and their property, are still there, working n offices or the military. They are probably at a workplace near you.

Can we bring America back to Rockwell?

I think nations are as mortal as the people that inhabit them. They live. They die. They prosper. They cry. As with our own life lessons, nations learn through the suffering. This is an opportunity for the rebirth of a new Norman Rockwell style American family, through the relentless application of solid moral principles. I believe that institutions like the MSM, the public education system and the universities are losing their power to mold people's minds. Keep in mind, they have to be able to completely crush or suppress dissent, to succeed. Their current hysterical behavior, from illegal immigration to global warming, might impress the press and the politicians. To me, it is a sign that those dinosaurs are marching quickly to the tar pit.

Cultural devastation comes from grass roots implementation and advocacy; so does cultural healing. This is the greatest time to advocate for keeping up the good fight. Newspapers are bleeding off their margins through a credibility chasm. We are witnessing a revolution in internet education, now entering toddler status from its infancy. I would not expect to see any political leadership, leading anyone around. Politicians are modern sheep in America, driven by their poll shepherds. Many are old, clueless, resorting to pathetic, transparent tricks. They are about to receive a quick and dirty education. Americans will keep America on top, in spite of any wavering sickness we see on the cultural horizon.

Shave the Whales

I was perusing Amazon for some EE books yesterday. There was an ad, featured prominently on the front of the site pushing for this new men's grooming product. The banner slogan on the front of the ad extols the virtues of shaving Everywhere. The video is amusing.

I just cannot possibly imagine the irritation of razor stubble, everywhere, including the nether regions.

My father said, when he was on leave in Tokyo, during the Korean war, that Japanese women were fascinated by body hair. Why would I want to remove that potential advantage, Everywhere? Would Naomi Watts love King Kong, if he was shaved everywhere? He would be busy scratching the stubble on his jewels, and checking his manicure, while some big reptile swallows her up.

UPDATE: Thanks to fmragtops for spotting my sloppy trigger pull. It looks like the congressman supports the concept of insulating himself from the same laws the rest of us must obey, in regards to the Jefferson (D-LA) case. This is a violation of the Contract with America, I might add.

The bill that passed the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 27 repeats the mistakes made 20 years ago when we provided amnesty to illegal aliens and let unethical businesses off the hook. The Senate bill includes amnesty for the 11 to 12 million undocumented aliens in the US who have managed to elude the authorities. This is a slap in the face to those who are following the law and taking the right steps to enter this country. The Senate proposal absolves the wrongdoers and penalizes those who are obeying the law. I do not accept the claim made by some that this is not amnesty because among other things, illegal aliens would have to pay two fines of $1,000 each. It is offensive to me to think we have legislators who are considering selling US citizenship for $2,000. US citizenship is not for sale. It is a privilege bestowed upon those who appreciate its value, and who contribute to our nation by living in a manner that reflects the principles and ideology of being an American. When someone’s first step in this country is taken in direct violation of our laws, I cannot support a process that allows them to continue residing in the US, while others wait up to 20 years outside the US before they are able to take their first step into this country legally.

The congressman has openly stated that illegal behavior must not be rewarded with amnesty.
He also supports putting the screws to employers (link), who illegally hire them.

The Washington Double Cheeseburger

Hunting Donkeys and RINOs can make you hungry. When you are out on Safari, with your Teddy Roosevelt inspired blunderbuss, marching about in your old faithful boots, nothing satisfies that brutal protein craving, like a delicious Washington Double Cheeseburger, from the link loving kitchen of Insolublog.

Now, I must admit I do not possess the gourmet flair of MensaB. If I were a flaming metro-sexual like Howard Dean, I might try to embellish my food presentation skills. Alas, in red state America, men are men, women are women, and men and women celebrate their differences, instead of blurring the border between genders and nations.

The greatest core ingredient, of the Washington D.C., is a full pound of fresh ground RINO. Finding a local butcher, with a fresh supply of the addled perissodactyl, can be difficult. In that case, just substitute with fresh ground Jill or sirloin beef. Make sure you trust the butcher, or witness it prepared on site; otherwise, you might get a Mexican national, folding in his body parts, excretions or a generous supply of E-coli, into the grind. Now you wouldn't want that, even though it's a job most Americans refuse to do.

Place the fresh patties on a hot grill plate. Now this grill must be hot. It must be so hot, that if it were to be inserted beneath the posterior of an INS bureaucrat, they would move faster than Ted Kennedy toward an open bar.


Now what do you do with two aromatic, sizzling, fat glistening slabs, sitting on a hot grate? Why, you cover them with more aromatic glistening fat, in the form of generous chunks of razor sharp Cheddar, delicately exhumed from Tupperware. As they approach that medium rare state of a conservative judicial nominee, at the end of Senate confirmation hearings, take it out of the propane committee, and put in on a fresh bulky from the bakery.



Be generous with crisp garden tomatoes and onions, hopefully picked by a citizen neighbor, from a nearby garden. John Kerry hates tomato products of all kinds, except the kind that feeds his wife's trust fund. Ok, ok. He still hates that tomato product, but he likes the money.

The roll should be a delectably simple, freshly baked product, with a chewy outer crust. This crust should be as immune to the assault of hot juices, streaming from the patties, as a patriotic radio show host or conservative blogger is immune to red herring criticism. Crumbly Air-puffed America rolls, or half baked National Public Rolls are unacceptable. The one chosen here, has yummy onion bits, sprinkled on top.



If you are so inclined, wash the DC burger down with an ice cold brew, or a creamy root beer. Enjoy!

The Senators took their hidden daggers from their toga's today and plunged them into the heart of the Republican Party. I can only hope the Republic does not fall.

The White House claims that the president’s plan is not an amnesty because illegals will face penalties and “benchmarks.” Here is what Tony Snow says awaits those who are allowed to stay under the president’s plan:

What exactly on that list is onerous? Let’s go through it.

Illegal aliens will have to “pay taxes”: That’s no penalty; they’re supposed to pay taxes. In fact, according the Sen. Chuck Grassley, under Bush’s plan illegals would have the option to only have to pay three of their last five years in back taxes.

They have to “keep their nose clean”: Big deal. So does everybody else.

They have to get a tamper-proof ID card: Oh, the humanity!

They’ll have to stay employed: But isn’t that why they came here, to do jobs Americans won’t?

They’ll have to learn English: That’s a benefit to the illegal.

Most of these “benchmarks” would be required of any legal immigrant. They are in no way burdensome, yet Tony Snow makes them sound almost oppressive.

The only real punishment on the entire list is the fine. Know what it is? A measly $2,000 payable in two $1,000 installments. When you consider what illegals get for their two grand, it’s the deal of a lifetime.

We don't need no Stinking Oath

When I raise my right hand and swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States, I mean it, Boehner said, referring to the oath members take at the beginning of each Congress. [Justice Department employees] take the same oath, so somebody better start reading the Constitution down there. (link)






John Boehner (R-OH) talking about the respect and admiration he has for his oath to the Constitution of the US. He is complaining about the warranted FBI raid on William Jefferson's office.

But he also stood by his positions, especially on a tough illegal immigration bill that passed in December with overwhelming Republican support over Boehner's opposition. One provision in the bill would mandate that every business verify the legality of every employee through the federal terrorism watch list and a database of Social Security numbers. GRAHAM: Well, number one, we have to resolve this issue to build confidence in the American people that we're a nation of laws, not outcomes. So having hearings I think is appropriate. Get on the Right Side

Blame the conservative base if you want. We like that anyway. Strength and consistency is something most cultures respect. When the Democrats complain about the conservative base, that is a badge of honor. It is a badge to be flaunted, not feared. It is a flag to waive proudly, like the American flag.

These untethered, unprincipled poll sniffing pols, have put themselves in so many hypocritical situations by constantly reshaping their non-existent, anti-establishment platform, that they have turned themselves into an ideological joke. They are a pathetic porrige of undisciplined conflict.

The Senate Republicans are following them, into the pit! Do what is right. Lay the blame on us. We will gladly accept it.

The MSM and the liberals have thrown the entire kitchen sink of rhetoric, passive aggressive media shots, celebrity tantrums etc. at you. You still won those elections. You won them on conservative principles of tax-cuts, marriage, etc.

When they accuse you of pandering to us, ask yourself a question. What is another drop of liberal whine, in an ocean of liberal whine, which is now turning to vinegar?

It is nothing.

Steal their Voting Base

It's simple. The Democrats have used Mediscare and entitlement fear to shackle their base for years. It doesn't matter that we have never taken those benefits away. It does not matter that the economic boom of tax-reduction is actually beginning to swell the tax coffers. Use their own big stick to beat them up. Sun Tsu would be proud.

The illegals already have that entitlement mentality. The liberals have already installed it, into their brains. When they are given political power, job security and citizenship, they will demand those liberal entitlements. The wage slave handlers, will then wander off, shopping for new illegal slaves, leaving behind an enormous new welfare state, pandered to by the Democrats.

Tell the current voting Democrat base of elderly Democrats and minority welfare recipients, that the Democrats want to give their entitlement money away to illegal criminal invaders. Tell them that all of the Democrats and the Rino Republicans want to steal their jobs. Tell them that the tax increase to support the illegals, will destroy the economy. All of their drugs, heat and emergency room money will dry up.

They will finally get the truth for a change. Push the point hard and all the way into those poor homes. Tell those people, that the Democrats have used them for political cannon fodder.

Tell them the Democrats see greener pastures now and are now abandoning them, like a discarded dish rag. Tell them those liberals are not looking back.

Replace the Democrat lie, with the ugly truth.

Hit the Home Run

Tell them conservative means conservation. It means the conservancy of America, for them and their children. Then you have the base, all of the Republicans and a large chunk of concerned American voting citizens adding all their voices to solid, conservative Republican Victories at the polls.

Truth, security and national pride are always a recipe for success in America.

Here is how many in the conservative base feel right now. They can smell the, juicy, nutritious, all-American hot apple pie, sitting on a window sill, somewhere on Capitol hill. But they cannot get to that slice of pie.






They are now barred, in their prison of conscience. Those bars are the hard steel of the Agriculture lobby, the Bankers and Real Estate lobby, the trial lawyers etc.







We can smell that Apple pie, but the actual menu available to us is limited. The prison wardens of the lobbies and the MSM have only given us two choices.

We can choose to dine on a nice slice of dead Jackass. This will sustain us for the brief moment of Mexican socialism, immediately proceeded by the loss of our war on terror, Islamic dhimmitude and decapitation in the prison yard.




We can choose to dine on a slice of dead Elephant. This will sustain us until we are completely immersed in Mexican socialism. The chant will go from 'jobs Americans won't do' to 'jobs no longer available to stupid suicidal gringos'. So, while we are in prison, we had better learn Spanish.







Here is our voting booth. Once again, We will need to hold our face over the ballot basin and regurgitate our stomachs to empty out the dead Elephant. We will then pull the handle, so at least we can sit in a cell that is not full of the stench of either dead beast.








It does not have to be this way.


Here is the Republican we want to see. A Republican that is alive and full of leadership charge. A Republican who will take that conservative leadership and those conservative principles, into his powerful Republican trunk, grasp the bars on our prison, and pull the entire cage assembly out of the Washington concrete. We need a person that will charge into battle and trample the opposition, then bring legal American citizens in, to sweep up the mess and fix the landscaping.


We need to bring a genuine war of ideologies to the voting booth. It is a war we will win, by the virtues of genuine truth, genuine justice and prosperity. I want a Republican who will let us walk out, and quench our hunger for a piece of that American pie.

All of the dead carcasses must be swept away. You must support this live, vital and strong Republican Elephant, in the election primaries, any way you can.

I have to work on a post on the President's recent speech, regarding illegal immigration. Unfortunately, all of the capillaries in my eyeballs are gorged with the blood of rage.

The resulting pressure has distorted both of them. Since this shifts the optical focus point, I needed this large font to actually read what I am typing.

The delay is simply a matter of biology, fluid mechanics and the physics of Washington politics.

Mom's Little Princess

My father and I were in the 99 restaurant on Memorial day last year, eating our traditional cholesterol laden fair, on a rainy Sunday afternoon. My father was fresh from his attendance of memorial services, with his Army dress greens.

The background was a discordant drone of Fox News, NECN and patron babble mixed with the occasional clash and scrape of silverware on crockery, and the shimmering whine of artificial fabric swiping together, from raincoats and windbreakers, being zipped and stripped.

Partway through our duplicate steaming portions of French onion soup, a young family squeezed past the bar crowd, to settle in an empty booth two spots away, on the opposite aisle. They had just attended a church service, or a holiday school play. Mom was juggling two restless boys and her youngest, a little girl, was dressed in a little pink outfit, replete with wand and a chrome plastic jewel encrusted tiara.

Mom looked pretty darn tired. Her eyes had a slight puffiness, and she was nodding off. It had been a rough morning and perhaps a rough evening of preparation. Dad was in full 99 zombie mode, glassy eyes fixed on a plasma tube. As mom was preoccupied with settling the boys, the little girl stumbled in pirouette fashion, rolling along the boundary of coats and stranger's legs. All the older women and mothers smiled and prodded her in her clumsy progression.

She stopped at my fathers green Army blazer. She immediately focused on the cluster of the CIB and thin ribbons, fixed to his coat.

Dad was nose deep in his soup. I nudged him with my foot and directed him, by a head nod, to his new fan. My father loves kids. He has entire conversations with them, with his own silent sign language of facial expression. I watched with captive amusement, as he negotiated a connection with her, using a special combination of smirks, denture juggling, eyebrow raises and head scratches. She was as amused as I was. During the facial acrobatics, she was fingering a loose tooth, with eyes fixed, on my snake charming father.

“Is that candy!?”, She abruptly piped, fixing her gaze on his ribbons.

“No, I'm afraid not.” Both eyebrows raised, with a crestfallen head shake.

“Oh.” She did not seem too upset. She had already indulged, since there was a spot of candy apple red on her face.

I looked over at her Mom. She was watching the scene, with a smile in her tired eyes. She swept over silently to gather her daughter. The little girl, wanting to postpone her itinerary, re-ignited the conversation.

“Guess what I am?” She was balancing on a forward foot, with chin extended.
“Well, I'm not sure.” I responded. “Could we be in the presence of royalty?”

Of course she did not understand a word I said. She had very little patience, unable to give me time to formulate another conclusion.

“I'm a Princess!” She announced to the entire west wing of the 99.

“I knew it all along!” My father exclaimed. “Don't listen to him, your highness”, pointing at yours truly.

She giggled as her Mom gathered her up in her arms. My father and her mom exchanged compliments and greetings.

“Ok, little Princess, it's time to get back to the castle.” Mom bounced her back to the booth.

The last thing I saw, before our main meals arrived, was Mom dipping a napkin in her ice water, trying to wash off the candy apple smudge. “That's cold!” ... “Shhh.” Mom sticks the napkin in her mouth, to warm it up. A bit a more squirming, a quick nose rub, then a somewhat quiet meal.

Yeah. My mom did that napkin thing to me, too.

So, we fast-forward to today.

My Dad and I are in the 99. They have gotten closed caption religion on the television sets, so the mild din of public conversation is the only noise factor. It is cold and rainy weather, the day before Mother's day. The venue and the weather reminded me of time we met a little princess and her mother. I recanted the story to my Dad. We started talking about his mom, my mom and the little princess' mother. The old war horse started to get misty on me.

I dearly hope that some decades hence, that little princess becomes the queen of her own American castle. I hope she gathers her own little princess, in her tired arms and wipes the candy smudge from her face, with that same motherly love in her eyes.

REPUBLICAN CONTRACT WITH AMERICA

As Republican Members of the House of Representatives and as citizens seeking to join that body we propose not just to change its policies, but even more important, to restore the bonds of trust between the people and their elected representatives.

That is why, in this era of official evasion and posturing, we offer instead a detailed agenda for national renewal, a written commitment with no fine print.

This year's election offers the chance, after four decades of one-party control, to bring to the House a new majority that will transform the way Congress works. That historic change would be the end of government that is too big, too intrusive, and too easy with the public's money. It can be the beginning of a Congress that respects the values and shares the faith of the American family.

Like Lincoln, our first Republican president, we intend to act "with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right." To restore accountability to Congress. To end its cycle of scandal and disgrace. To make us all proud again of the way free people govern themselves.

* FOURTH, limit the terms of all committee chairs;

I guess, back in 2002, some Republican's decided they didn't like the idea. I guess when you are moistening that chair with your own ass, it's not such a good idea. [?]

* FIFTH, ban the casting of proxy votes in committee;

* SIXTH, require committee meetings to be open to the public;

Except when the committe members vote to make it private. This is mostly done for national security reasons, so I am ok with this one. [check]

* SEVENTH, require a three-fifths majority vote to pass a tax increase;

You made good on this one. [check]

* EIGHTH, guarantee an honest accounting of our Federal Budget by implementing zero base-line budgeting.

With spending gone wild, I cannot seriously believe this one. [strike]

Thereafter, within the first 100 days of the 104th Congress, we shall bring to the House Floor the following bills, each to be given full and open debate, each to be given a clear and fair vote and each to be immediately available this day for public inspection and scrutiny.

1. THE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY ACT: A balanced budget/tax limitation amendment and a legislative line-item veto to restore fiscal responsibility to an out- of-control Congress, requiring them to live under the same budget constraints as families and businesses. (Bill Text) (Description)

What I see, is a system heading towards bankruptcy and politicians using the Ted Kennedy approach to crisis managment: "I'll drive off that bridge, when I get to it." [strike]

It will be pretty difficult to raise those worker's wages with 20 million criminal wetbacks pulling the money away through black market labor. [strike]

I continue to see hospitals going bankrupt and doctors go out of business, because of the John Edward's of this world. I still see businesses being bent over a sawhorse like Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction, by ignorant juries, while losers walk away unscathed by their failed accusations.

I know you guys tried hard on this one, but letting a minority of selfish, tort lawyer toe sucking liberals, block reform of the public economic rape of our medical system, without a knockout fight, is not trying hard enough. [strike]

The difference between then and now, is crystal clear. You had no power then. There was no D.C. media and lobby culture to tempt you, to blind you, to tickle your fancies with the trappings that corrupted your Democrat contemporaries.

Stand firm once again, Republicans. Use that hammer we forged for you, through that voting booth, and drive every single nail of this contract, flush to the surface. Complete the construction of the ownership society, within safe, secure and prosperous borders. Forget those lobby goblins.

Lost in Disgrace

First, there is the Washington Democrat. He is a pseudo-intellectual bureaucrat, with a doctorate from a liberal university. He spends all his time complaining about his sore back and explaining why he can't pull his own weight. He constantly hides behind rhetoric, designed to frame himself in the role of the victim.






He walks around, openly vocalizing his plight and plotting with foreign powers, to take anything and everything that enriches him or increases his power. When he caught in a lie, he finds every excuse to blame another. When he is put in a position of authority and makes a decision, it is usually reckless, poorly thought out policy, causing more damage than good. He is always tinkering with the programming of the Constitution, trying to force it to suit his purpose.







When he feels threatened, by the failure of his own social policies, or by being caught in a scandalous act, he hides behind the nearest child.











Here is the Washington moderate Republican. He is morally sound, pragmatic and intelligent. He is way too tolerant of the Democrat's behavior. The result is a continuous stream of near fatal misses. He keeps on risking the family's survival, by spending scarce and crucial resources to save the Democrat. He tries to tell the family that this is compassionate conservative behavior, owing to the moral high ground.











Then we have the Washington conservative. He is a gun toting military man. He knows in his heart what is right and true. However, out of loyalty and respect for the RINO leadership, he is always falling precipitously short of delivering the savage political beating the Democrat so richly deserves.










Of course, the moment the Republicans fall into a sinking pit of political cosmic dust, the Democrat immediately leaves them to fend for themselves, wandering off to look for more selfish booty. That's what they get for trying to engage in concensus politics.







Then there is the Constitution. It was constructed by human geniuses. Since it is not a human being, it cannot be motivated by it's own internal selfish ambitions and prejudices. Every time it warns of impending danger to the family, it is insulted by the Democrat and sometimes ignored by the others. When the danger actually arrives, the Democrat runs to it for protection. When it relies on its original, uncorrupted programming, it is always right.






You can always rely on an appearance by Sen. Schumer, demanding another entitlement program.













As long as the conditions remain unchanged, in the hostile alien world of Washington D.C., where the laws of the physical world are ignored, the pioneer families of the United States will continue to remain lost in disgrace.

The Verdict is In

So, Moussaoui got life in prison. This actually lines up the very first step in my 9 point terrorist justice plan.

Unfortunately, they decided to leave out the rest of my recommendations:

1. Put Moussaoui in prison for the "rest of his life".
   
2. Hang him in his cell by thumbscrews or fishhooks through his finger nails, with his feet dangling through custom holes, cut through the top of a pet carrier full of hungry rats. (Thanks FIAR).
   
3. Keep him alive by feeding him salty boiling Maypo pork chop puree (Thanks Wyatt) through a pastry bag cone plunged into the lesser of his two eye sockets. He will need the other one for step 9.
   
4. Take him on a glorious penthouse ride to the top of a brand new tower in New York, on the anniversary of September 11.
5. Cordon off an appropriate street.
6. Smash a Champagne bottle, filled with the finest jet fuel money can buy, over our hero's diseased coconut.
7. Ignite him with a road flare, using his puny manhood as a fuse.
8. Push him over the balcony. Let the ensuing flames convince him to jump over the balcony.
9. Film his plummet to the ground, on pay-per-view. Donations go to the victims of the 911 disaster.

Still Beating the Drum

I apologize to my readers for another post, deriding the president for his position on illegal immigration. I must do it. I like president Bush, as a human being. I like president Bush, as the commander in chief, prosecuting the war on terror. On this issue however, his position is unconstitutional, liberally outrageous and frankly, un-American.

The conservatives, in our country are the only ones, vigorously calling for an end to this invasion of our soil.
Typically, we see liberal Democrats, like Ted Kennedy, championing the cause of criminals over victims.

• Take guns and gun rights away from citizens, statistically raising the de-facto criminal ownership of guns.
• Advocate the unbridled abortion of unborn children, while fighting tooth and nail to save the lives of convicted murderers.
• Advocate for removing the names of sexual predators from national watch lists.
• Advocate for giving prisoners the right to vote.
• Insist that the treatment of prisoners and terrorists, in prison, is torture, while our soldiers, in the field, suffer worse hardship without complaint.
• On and on and on ...

Then there is the liberal position on illegal immigration. What is the first thing they do? They follow the Lakoff linguistics theory of media spin. If you want to shape the public opinion of something, just change the harsh reality of the language to something soft and acceptable.

• First and foremost, strip off the term illegal
• When you cannot remove the term illegal, convert it to undocumented
• Try to associate your cause with an unrelated historical coupling, such as the civil rights movement.
• Filter the stream of information, so that it amplifies the positions you advocate, while suppressing the dissent.

This really works well, when your entire socio-economic analysis process is based on simple emotional gratification. It doesn't work so well, when your audience involves people who can think rationally.

Everyone should take a rubber thinking cap to college. The modern university is a dangerous brothel, full of intellectually transmitted diseases.

Mr. President, it will certainly not work with your attitude and the attitude of other politicians, who continue to violate their oaths of office. Your attempts to label the problem as futile, are falling on deaf ears.

How many employers have you put in jail for felony aide to illegal criminal invaders, Mr. President? None, I suspect, since you are still prattling on about jobs Americans will not do.

How many miles of border wall have you built, by immediate executive order, to enforce our immigration laws?

Neither of these are mass deportation. They are law enforcement, which would dry up those illegal jobs, and provide jobs for American citizens, at competitive wages.

"It's just an interesting concept that people need to think through," Bush said of the bill sponsored by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., which stalled before the congressional break.

We have thought your amnesty program through, Mr. President. It stinks. It is just more of the Washington lilac water and band aide approach to covering up the stench of a gangrenous, impotent, lobby hobbled immigration bureaucracy.

Bush is walking a fine line on the emotional immigration issue, between his party's conservative base which wants a clampdown on illegal immigration and business leaders who believe the economy needs immigrants to fill jobs.

The difference here, is not between conservatives and business leaders. The difference here, is between law abiding citizens and felonious criminal slave handlers. This is not an emotional issue. It is a legal issue. It is about the slave handlers, wanting to pawn off the medical, social and other human benefit costs of labor on law abiding citizens. Thanks to liberal government policy, that has become quite easy and profitable.

All sides are exerting pressure.

There is only on side that counts. The law! All other 'sides' are irrelevant.

"There needs to be a campaign to explain what's available for people so that they don't go to the emergency rooms," he said.

Mr. President, there are campaigns, right now, this very day, in Mexico, explaining to illegals, that the American emergency room is the place to go. Do you think we are all blind and stupid?

"One thing we cannot lose sight of is that we're talking about human beings, decent human beings that need to be treated with respect," the president said.

What about the decent human American citizens, who live on the Mexican border, Mr. president? The citizens who pay your salary and the salaries in congress? American citizens, who have their land invaded every night, by this wage slave exodus, Mr. President?

What about those decent human American citizens, who can't find one of those jobs you claim they won't take, because the wage structure pays slave wages?

Are those decent human beings, being treated with respect, by their own elected government, Mr. President?

No.

They are being trampled, diminished, dismissed, marginalized and disrespected! They are being disrespected by you, the liberal Republicans and the liberal Democrats. The order of that indictment was appropriate, since, for now, Republicans run the show.

The House has passed a law-and-order immigration bill that would erect fences along the Mexican border and treat people who sneak across as felons to be deported. An alternative Senate measure would set up a temporary guest worker program, like the McCain bill, but require all illegal immigrants to leave the United States before they could apply for the visas.

The bill, also sponsored by Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., would boost border security but also create three-year visas for guest workers. Those who have been in the country longer than five years would not have to return home to apply for the visas. It would also allow for the workers to apply for legal permanent residency after paying a $2,000 fine, learning to speak English and working six years.

The house is very good at debating and passing abortive paper tripe. The federal government has become good at the application of cosmetics. It is all interesting, but useless theatrics. Some of us are sick of the talk. Some of us are sick of transient, superficially gratifying solutions. I will not believe a word of it, until I see direct action. By action, I mean completely verifyable prosecution of the law, from offense, to final justice.

Criminal invader amnesty is totally unacceptable, on its face, as unconstitutional lawbreaking. We all know what happened, in 1986, when we were told this problem would be taken care of.

Well, once again, the deodorant and band aides have fallen off the festering appendage of illegal wage slave importation.

• Start building that wall today.
• Start jailing those illegal employers.
• Start deporting those criminals.
• Fix the broken bureaucracy so that it processes people quickly and legally.
• Fix the broken bureaucracy so that we can collect vital economic statistics, unshrouded by a vast illegal work force.

Do your job, or by God, the American people will fire all of you!

Plug Me In to the Network

I recently picked up a copy of the movie Network (1976) directed by Sidney Lumet. Written by the late, and obviously brilliant Paddy Chayefsky.

I had completely forgotten what a total gem this movie is. The fact that it was intended as satire, speaks volumes to the reality of today's modern, perverse MSM.

There are so many wonderful examples of the satire art, which you will see imitated by real life today. The only difference, of course, is that the movie is funny.

A reality show driving, airwave prophet Howard Beale (Peter Finch) exposes his mental film by opening his personal darkroom door on national TV. His longtime friend and seat warmer Executive chum Max Schumacher (William Holden) end their long careers through a fast paced real life script, penned by sensational ratings spinster Diane Christensen (Faye Dunaway). The whole ratings party include the features of terrorist propagandist Great Ahmed Kahn (Arthur Burghart) and corporate knee climber Frank Hackett (Robert Duvall). Near the end, dark Rovian stereotype Arthur Jensen (Ned Beatty) delivers a brief, but brilliant, speech about the new world order.

It is all there.

Just look at today's pathetic MSM:

• Countless attempts to defame our military, by the press.
• Fake documents pushed by CBS over President Bush's Guard service.
• Reporters trying to push a fictitious death toll of Hurricane Katrina, and paddling canoes through 12 inches of water, across the camera lens.
• Frequent photo and image doctoring by Reuters and AP trolls.
• The recent NBC attempt to solicit fabricated racism at NASCAR
• And just today, there is a reporter for the San Francisco chronicle, obviously suffering from some rare form of sexually transmitted encephalitis, who is arguing that since the KY lubrication level on our southern border dropped from 99.9% to 97.6%, we are now responsible for an increase in the death toll of criminal aliens, who put themselves in harm's way.

And those were examples I thought of at the speed I could type them! You know all the rest.

Every character, associated with the ‘new system’, is mortally tethered to ratings and political obsessions. The entire sequence of events will have you laughing with open-jawed recognition of all of those media pundits, street protesters and political power brokers you love to both love and hate.
